Manuscript preparation

When preparing manuscripts for submission to the International Review of Services Management (IRSM) authors should follow the guidelines in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (6th edition) http://www.apastyle.org/pubmanual.html).

All articles should be submitted in English language and should contain:

  1. A page file with the name of the author(s), their institutional affiliation and to whom any correspondence should be sent (include full mailing address, e-mail address, telephone and fax number).
  2. A second file, including the full paper. At its first page should contain the title of the article and an abstract of not more than 250 words. From the second page the full paper should appear including: Introduction–Review of literature, Methodology (including: sample, evaluation tools, data collection, statistical analysis), Results, Discussion, Conclusions, Implications and Recommendations for further study, and References.

Apart from the file where the author(s) should appear, any clues to the identity of the author(s) should be eliminated from the text.

Full articles should normally be 4000 to 7000 words in length (excluding references). Articles will only be considered if:

Text should be Arial 12, 1.5 spacing, and 2,5cm margins.

Tables or figures are included in the text and should be numbered with Arabic numerals (1,2 etc.). All tables and figures should appear in black, white or grayscale.

All pages must be numbered consecutively in the lower right hand corner starting with the title and abstract page.

The abstract page must include: i) the title, ii) the abstract (maximum 250 words) and iii) 3 to 5 keywords. No information about the author should be presented on the abstract page.

References

References should be indicated in the text by the authors name(s) and the year of publication in parentheses (e.g. Morgan & Hunt (1994). When referring to more than one paper, list them in chronological order (e.g. Mitchell, Angle & Wood (1994); Chelladurai (1997); Papassapa & Miller, 2007).

References should be listed at the end of the submission in alphabetical order. Titles of journals should not be abbreviated. If several papers by the same author in the same year are cited, use a, b, c, etc. after the year of publication. The references should be listed at the end of the article in the following standard form:
